WWE News: Bruno Sammartino Joins Twitter; Tweets Foley, The Rock and Iron Sheik

Bruno Sammartino‘s official website has confirmed that Bruno Sammartino’s official Twitter account can be found @sammartinobruno.

77-year-old Sammartino set-up the account a couple weeks ago after he was confirmed as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, his first tweet coming on February 10th where he thanked his loyal fans for their support, writing, “I can’t believe all my fans who have reached out to me in the last few days I am very humbled.”

Bruno also took time to send out a few tweets to fellow wrestlers:

Bruno also plugged his induction into the International Sports Hall of Fame, where he will be inducted at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Arnold Classic” event taking place in Columbus, Ohio.

Considering it got a ton of views, I’m glad this was posted though I’m not sure the real point here. Bruno Sammartino has always seemed like a pretty good guy, and he is just showing it more here.

Had this been anybody but Sammartino, I wouldn’t have done it. But considering the amount of views, I’m happy I did.
