Multiple wrestling sites (TNAsylum.com, WrestlingINC.com, PWPIX.net, and more) are now reporting that former Knockouts Champion, Velvet Sky may appear on IMPACT tonight.

Velvet has been with the organization since the creation of the Knockout’s division way back in 2007. It was just this past summer when both parties couldn’t agree upon a contractional agreement which resulted in Velvet’s departure.

In her short time away from TNA, Velvet has reunited with Angelina Love, the original Beautiful People, and has been accepting bookings, all while launching her very own clothing line as well.

The departure of the one-time Knockouts Champion upset several people within the organization; TNA President, Dixie Carter included. Ever since the departure, both parties have since been quietly trying to agree on a new deal, and it appears they have done so.

PWTorch reports that Velvet Sky is, indeed, currently in Orlando, Florida. The live go-home episode of IMPACT will air in no more than four hours.

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleEnigma, I’d like to welcome Velvet Sky back to TNA. Let the pigeons loose!

Scheduled for tonight is Kurt Angle vs. DOC, a World Television Championship match between Devon and Samoa Joe, and a big six-man tag match pitting Bobby Roode and Bad Influence against AJ Styles, James Storm, and the TNA Heavyweight Champion, “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy.

Tune in tonight at 8/7c on SPIKE TV.

I feel like something insightful should be written here.... I'm probably wrong though.

  1. Velvet’s music hit on Impact this week, I was happy, the pigeons were let loose, all of that. Then it was all sucked away when she said “if you don’t know, now you know.” That’s Christian’s catchphrase from TNA. That blonde witchskank….

  2. Meh. I like Velvet personality and charisma-wise, but she’s pretty awful inside the ring, in my opinion. While it’s always good to have more people on a dull Knockouts division roster, I’d rather see some new faces instead of returning old ones.

    • I think she’s improved over time, but is still one of the weakest wrestlers on the KO roster. She makes up for her lack of in-ring skill with her charisma, mic skill, and whatnot. Most other KOs aren’t too sharp on the mic or with personality.

I agree. Though Velvet returning is good, the KO roster is in need of some new blood & new faces.
